Virtual Telehealth Consultation


Jackson's Veterinary Services are now offering virtual consultations to our clients. This service can be extremely beneficial in cases of non-life-threatening emergencies and to get questions answered in order to have piece of mind. This service will allow an intimate, one-on-one dialogue with the veterinarian, the client,  and their pet. In some cases follow up, recheck, and new appointments for existing clients can be scheduled to prevent having to schedule a physical appointment. This is especially beneficial due to the current pandemic.

How Do I Schedule a Virtual Visit?

Step 1: The first step to securing a virtual visit is to complete an " Appointment Request" via the website or request an appointment through the " Client Portal." 

 Step 2: Once your request has been received a member from our team will contact the client to solidify a date and time. Once the date and time has been scheduled the client must then visit our website, click on the "Virtual Consultation Payment Link" located under our logo at the top of the home page, then submit payment for the virtual appointment. This will secure and confirm your appointment

Step 3: Once the client's payment has been received a JVS staff member will email the client a ZOOM link for the appointment. At the time of the appointment simply log in to zoom to begin your appointment.  


How Much is a Virtual Visit?

The cost of virtual visits are time dependent. This means that the cost of the visit will depend of the amount of time that is needed to answer all of the client's questions. The rate is $65.00 per 15 minutes of time needed for the client. 


How Do I Prepare for a Virtual Visit?


It is very important that the client is prepared for their virtual appointment to maximize on the benefit and time for the virtual appointment. We ask that all medical records , vaccine history, and other medical history be email to in[email protected] as early as possible prior to the appointment. Additionally it is recommended that the "Zoom" application be downloaded and tested prior to your appointment time. We will let you know if any additional information is needed prior to your appointment.

Virtual Visit Disclaimers: In the case of technical difficulty the client will be contacted via phone to complete the appointment. In some cases the client may be referred to the closest animal emergency hospital due to the nature of the appointment. Your appointment time will be timed , recorded , and yourwill be notified when the appointment clock has been started. Medical advice, prescriptions, and other medical information will be given at the medical providers discretion.  Unfortunately refunds will not be permitted in any case and grace will be granted if unstable issues arise of our , the company, part.
